<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for supporting employment, a method for supporting employment, and a computer program, which allow a job seeker to obtain information about companies appropriate to the job seeker without being conscious of operations, and allow a company to collect information about the job seeker useful for decision regarding acceptance or rejection. <P>SOLUTION: First action characteristic information of action characteristic of the job seeker necessary for the company is stored for every company information. Totalling information is generated by summing up feature amounts every predetermined term on the basis of first mail history information of a person belonging to the company. A mathematical model with the totalling information as input and the first action characteristic information as output is generated. Second action characteristic information is calculated by the mathematical model generated with the totalling information generated by summing up the feature amounts every predetermined term as input on the basis of second mail history information of the job seeker.
