<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power converting device of a simple structure capable of making a fan case having a cooling fan therein easily attachable to and detachable from a body without providing a separate fixing member. <P>SOLUTION: A power converting device includes a heat producing part housed in a body 2 and the cooling fan 6 for cooling the heat producing part provided in the body 2. A housing portion 5, which houses the fan case 7 having the cooling fan 6 therein, is formed in the body 2.
