PHOTOLUMINESCENT SHEET, METHOD OF MANUFACTURING THE SAME AND ARTIFICIAL FLOWER OR FOLDED PAPER USING THE SHEET

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photoluminescent sheet which is widely used as a paper like sheet having a feeling entirely different from the conventional sheet made of synthetic resin although the sheet is made of the synthetic resin to which a photoluminescent pigment is compounded, to provide a method of manufacturing the photoluminescent sheet, and to provide an artificial flower or a folded paper using the photoluminescent sheet.

SOLUTION: The method of manufacturing the photoluminescent sheet formed by drying a printing ink which contains at least the powdery or granular photoluminescent pigment and a synthetic resin content constituting a vehicle comprises: a compounding process of compounding raw materials such that the photoluminescent pigment falls into the range of 1 to 20 pts.mass per 10 pts.mass of the synthetic resin in the printing ink; an agitation process of agitating and mixing the raw materials; a film forming process of coating a strippable paper or a transfer paper with the printing ink and drying the ink to form a film; a stripping and recovering process of stripping and recovering the strippable paper or transfer paper; and a conditioning process of drying and conditioning the film to provide the photoluminescent sheet.
