<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a life prediction system that enables exact life prediction of a ceramic filter in a dust collector by real time monitoring of the filtration capacity thereof. <P>SOLUTION: The life prediction system of the filter which is installed in a dust collector in a sludge incineration system and through which an exhaust gas passes includes a differential pressure gage to measure differential pressure across the filter, a calculation unit to calculate corrected differential pressure from the actual differential pressure based on flow velocity and viscosity of the exhaust gas at the time of measurement of differential pressure across the filter, and a life prediction unit to predict the life of the filter based on the corrected differential pressure. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
