PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an antenna apparatus which can be manufactured inexpensively, and which can achieve a wide bandwidth and miniaturization. SOLUTION: The antenna apparatus includes a circular conductor plate 1 and a ground conductor 11. The diameter of the circular conductor plate 1 has such a length that an electrical length in the lower limit frequency of a frequency band to be used becomes an about 1/4 wavelength. The circular conductor plate 1 is folded on, for example, two folding lines, and the two folding lines are parallel to each other. The antenna apparatus is positioned on a straight line 3, which is vertical to the two folding lines and is the straight line 3 on the circular conductor plate 1 before being bent, and which passes through the center of the circular conductor plate 1. Between the one end 4 of the circular conductor plate 1 and the ground conductor 11, power is fed. The antenna apparatus is positioned on the straight line 3, and another end 5 of the circular conductor plate 1 is connected to the ground conductor 11. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
