PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a server system, collective server apparatus and MAC address management method that enables the change of a MAC address and flexible assignment of the MAC address. SOLUTION: A network system includes: a plurality of network control units 400 that control communication performed with another device via a network; an address storage unit 300 that stores the MAC address to be assigned to the network control unit 400; an assignment change processing unit 201 that changes the assignment of the MAC address stored in the address storage unit 300 and writes the address in the address storage unit 300; and an assignment execution unit 202 that sets the assignment stored in the address storage unit 300 to each of the network control units 400.
