PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refactoring support device that presents a global variable not properly used in a program. SOLUTION: A refactoring support device 1 includes: a function/variable information extraction unit 4 for extracting functions and global variables used in an internal program and all data stored in the global variables; a variable data analysis unit 9 for calculating a use data ratio of the global variables in a software component; and a variable use decision unit 10 for deciding whether the use data ratio calculated in the variable data analysis unit 9 is equal to or higher than a preset decision ratio, and for deciding the uses of the global variables in the software component.
