<p>The present invention relates to an embolization implant and to a method for manufacturing same. Specifically, the present invention relates to a vasoocclusion device (1) comprising: a braided element (2) consisting of threads (3) made of a shape memory material, said element in particular being capable of assuming a substantially cylindrical configuration; at least two binding elements (5, 6), attached to said threads made of a shape memory material, aligned along an axis (4) of said cylindrical configuration, the position of the binding elements relative to one another being variable when the shape of a portion of the braided element changes, said portion being between an attachment zone of the threads to one of the binding elements (5) and an attachment zone of the threads to the other binding element (6), characterized in that, in the absence of mechanical stress, said portion of the braided element (2) assumes a configuration having a substantially z-shaped configuration.</p> |
