OPTICAL ARTICLE AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical article provided with an antireflection layer having a low sheet resistance.

SOLUTION: A lens 10 comprises a plastic lens base material 1 and a light-transmissive antireflection layer 3 formed on the lens base material 1 via a hard coat layer 2. A light-transmissive conductive layer 33 containing germanium is formed on one layer 32 of the antireflection layer 3. A sheet resistance value of the lens sample can be reduced to 1×1012Ω/sq. or lower, so that the optical article having antistatic effect sufficient to prevent adhesion of dust can be provided.
