<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a common electrode-driving circuit for a liquid crystal display. <P>SOLUTION: The common electrode-driving circuit 1 for a liquid crystal display includes a plurality of outputting terminals 11, 12 which are connected to a plurality of common voltage-inputting terminals 15, 16 in a common electrode layer in a liquid crystal display and input common voltage to the plurality of common voltage-inputting terminals. In this case, the common electrode layer drives the liquid crystal, together with the pixel electrode of the liquid crystal display, and the input common voltage becomes gradually lower from the data line signal input initiation of the liquid crystal display to its data line signal input termination.
