摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To purify exhaust gas in a wide range and prevent deterioration of second oxidation catalyst due to high temperature. <P>SOLUTION: This diesel engine is equipped with an aftertreatment device comprising an oxidation catalyst and a diesel particulate filter collecting particulate matter in exhaust gas at a downstream side of a supercharger. In the diesel engine, a bypass route is constituted in an exhaust pipe at an upstream side of an exhaust gas turbine of the supercharger, the second oxidation catalyst is provided in the bypass route, a throttle valve making exhaust gas flow in a bypass route direction is provided, an EGR valve performing EGR reduction and an EGR circuit connecting an exhaust pipe at an upstream side of the throttle valve and an intake pipe at an upstream side of an intake manifold are provided, and exhaust gas is made to pass through the second oxidation catalyst by closing the throttle valve when the EGR valve is opened to return part of exhaust gas to the intake side. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p>
