PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology which can efficiently perform surface-treatment for imparting fatigue resistance to a stabilizer for a vehicle. SOLUTION: A fatigue resistance-imparting surface treatment system 100 includes a support arm 20 that supports a stabilizer 10 and a support arm 32 that supports a projector 30. A surface treatment method performed by the fatigue resistance-imparting surface treatment system 100 includes a supporting step, a positioning step, and a projecting step. In the supporting step, the stabilizer is supported while securing a space where the projector that projects grains or energy can be disposed on the whole circumference of a scheduled surface treatment site. In the positioning step, the projector is positioned within the secured space. In the projecting step, the grains are projected from the positioned projector toward the scheduled surface treatment site. According to the surface treatment method, since the space can be secured on the whole circumference of the scheduled surface treatment site, the projector can be positioned as desired. Accordingly, the scheduled surface treatment site can be subjected to fatigue resistance-imparting surface treatment without any untreated part to which the grains or energy cannot be projected.
