PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermoelectric conversion element, which has a high ZT value at a low temperature of approximately 100 K at which a conventional thermoelectric material has a low ZT value, and is useful for power generation using a low-temperature liquefied gas etc., and cooling of a high-temperature superconductor. SOLUTION: The thermoelectric element has a ZrCuSiAs type crystal structure, and the composition is shown as LnTPnO<SB>x</SB>(Ln is rare earth, M is at least metal atom chosen from Fe, Ru, Os, Co, Ni and Cu, Pn is P, As or Sb, and x is a number of 1.1-0.5). The thermoelectric element has the ZrCuSiAs type crystal structure, and the composition is shown as LnFeAsO<SB>x</SB>(Ln and x are the same as above described). COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
