PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile electronic apparatus in which a coupling portion can be easily integrated into a casing, and to provide a manufacturing method of the mobile electronic apparatus. SOLUTION: The mobile electronic apparatus includes: a first casing with a first protruding portion formed therein; a second casing with a second protruding portion and a third protruding portion formed separately therein; a coupling portion coupling the first casing and the second casing while the first protruding portion is disposed between the second protruding portion and the third protruding portion; and a connecting member 90. The coupling portion includes: a first coupling member 42 having a fixed portion 421 that is fixed in the second casing, a first cylindrical portion 422 which is disposed while being protruded from a distal end side of the fixed portion 421 to a side of the first protruding portion and through which the connecting member 90 is inserted, and a slit portion 423 provided in the first cylindrical portion 422; and a second coupling member 43 having a second cylindrical portion 431 which is housed and held in the first protruding portion and which can be fitted to the first cylindrical portion 422, and a first projecting portion 432 which is formed on an inner surface side of the second cylindrical portion 431 and engaged with the slit portion 423.
