PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic superconductor which is elastically deformable and has a high critical temperature, and to provide a method of manufacturing the same. SOLUTION: The organic superconductor is composed of picene on which an alkaline metal or an alkaline earth metal is doped thereon. The organic superconductor is manufactured by a sealing step in which the picene, the alkaline metal or the alkaline earth metal is enclosed inside a glass tube of a vacuum state, and an annealing step in which the alkaline metal or the alkaline earth metal is doped on the picene by heating the glass tube up to a predetermined temperature or higher.
