PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily grasp and understand an article to be designed. SOLUTION: A furniture design support system comprises a computer system. The computer system includes an HD unit, and a furniture design support program and data showing the basic form of a unit and parts are preliminarily stored in the HD unit. An assembly main window W5 includes a unit/parts display region B1 and an assembly furniture display region B2 and a completion furniture display region B3. An operator selects the unit and parts from the unit/parts display region B1 based on furniture to be designed based on the request of the customer, and assemblies the selected units and parts by using the assembly furniture display region B2.
