PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically set a network environment, and to quickly restore data by a simple and inexpensive method. SOLUTION: At certain time, parameter information 400 for backup and network information 104 are backed up to a non-volatile storage device 12, and user data 103 are backed up to a backup computer. When the user data 103 are restored, a network environment is set by using the network information 104 stored in the non-volatile storage device 12, and a backup computer 6 is accessed by using the parameter information 400 for backup, and the backed-up user data 103 are acquired and restored.
