PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a clutch mechanism and a motor with reduction gear, preventing rotation of a rotational shaft of an electric motor caused by an external force, without degrading output efficiency of the electric motor. SOLUTION: A worm wheel 22, a drive plate 41, a clutch plate 42, a coil spring 43, and a casing 13 housing them are provided. Clutch engagement parts 55 engaged with each other are respectively disposed to the clutch plate 42 and the casing 13. The clutch plate 42 comes close to the worm wheel 22 to prevent the rotation of the drive plate 41, when the drive plate 41 is rotated before the worm wheel 22 is rotated. The clutch plate 42 is separated from the worm wheel 22 to rotate the drive plate 41 together with the worm wheel 22, when the worm wheel 22 is rotated before the drive plate 41 is rotated.
