PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a syringe drive unit wherein, when a plunger is pushed in a syringe body using a feed screw mechanism, a plunger pressing member can be moved by a more precise distance to discharge a medicinal solution from the syringe body with high accuracy. SOLUTION: The syringe drive unit is composed of: a syringe holder which is secured to an upper side of a base plate to hold the syringe body; a guide rail which is provided on an under side of the base plate in the axial direction of the syringe body; a slider which is incorporated in the guide rail via a rolling element; and an arm portion which is secured to the slider and is projected from the under side to the upper side of the base plate. The arm portion is comprised of the plunger pressing member which holds a plunger housed in the syringe body; a threaded shaft which is provided in parallel with the guide rail, and is rotated at a predetermined rotation speed by a motor; and a nut member which moves the plunger pressing member by a distance depending on the rotation of the threaded shaft.
