PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooling device for an engine, accelerating warming-up, preventing the carbonization of engine oil, and extending the lifetime of a battery. SOLUTION: This device includes a radiator R cooling coolant of the engine E, a circuit J circulating coolant between the engine E and the radiator R, a storage part 2 discharging coolant from the engine E once and storing the same, a circulation channel 3 providing communication between the engine E and the storage part 2, a circulation mechanism 28 circulating coolant between the engine E and the radiator R and between the engine E and the storage part 2, and a control mechanism 29 controlling a circulation mechanism 28 so as to discharge coolant in the engine E to the storage part 2 based on prescribed conditions after stop of the engine E.
