PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a remote controller having improved operability and a toilet seat device. SOLUTION: This remote controller includes an operation input means, a mounting wall recognizing means capable of acquiring the direction information on the mounting direction, a communication means, and a control means for transmitting the operation information from the communication means based on the input from the operation input means.
