PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure a drainage channel even when a rubbish capture portion is clogged with rubbish such as hairs; to decrease the frequency of the cleaning of the rubbish capture portion; and to maintain a proper drainage capacity over an extended time. SOLUTION: A drain plug is formed with a cover-like plug body 2 for opening/closing a drain outlet 1, and the rubbish capture portion 3 which is provided below the plug body 2 so as to capture the rubbish in wastewater. A wastewater circulating portion 2a for allowing the passage of the wastewater in the opening of the plug, and a wastewater blocking portion 2b for blocking the wastewater are formed in the plug body 2. A partition plate 7 makes the rubbish capture portion 3 divided into a main capture portion 31 which is positioned in such a manner as to correspond to the wastewater circulating portion 2a and which removes the rubbish from the wastewater flowing down via the wastewater circulating portion 2a, and a sub capture portion 32 which is positioned in such a manner as to correspond to the wastewater blocking portion 2b and which removes the rubbish from the wastewater overflowing over the vertically-directed partition plate 7 from the main capture portion 31.
