PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dust-catcher for easily and accurately detecting a decrease in plate thickness of a protecting liner for preventing the wear, disposed in the inner part of a vessel, as the dust-catcher for blast furnace gas, which separates the dust from the gas containing the dust generated from the blast furnace. SOLUTION: The dust-catcher for blast furnace gas is constituted so that an expanding tube through which the gas containing the dust is introduced is arranged in the inner part of the vessel, and an exhausting tube for flowing out the gas in which the dust is separated in the vessel is arranged at the upper part of the vessel, wherein the one-end part of a fitting means 3 penetrating a penetrating hole 8 formed for an iron-shell 1 is seal-welded to a dent part 7 arranged on the side facing the iron-shell of the protecting liner 2 fitted to the inner surface of the iron-shell 1 in the vessel, and the other-end part of the fitting means 3 is put out to the iron-shell from the penetrating hole 8, and seal-welded to the outer part of the iron-shell, and the fitting means 3 has a hole 10 for detecting the gas or the pressure, penetrated in the axial direction.
