PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a controller of an injection molding machine, accurately grasping any plasticization abnormality, particularly insufficient plasticization, and quickly taking effective countermeasures against any plasticization abnormality. SOLUTION: The controller of the injection molding machine is provided with: a heating tube heating means Fh for heating a heating tube 2 by powering heaters 3f, 3m, 3r which are attached respectively to a metering zone, a compression zone, and a feed zone respectively at the front 2f, the middle 2m, and the rear 2r of the heating tube 2; a temperature control means Fc for controlling the powering to the heaters 3f and the like so that the temperatures THd and the like detected in the respective zones reach preset respective target temperatures THs and the like; an abnormality determining means Fj which determines that there is a resin plasticization abnormality if control command values Ccf, Ccm for the heaters 3f, 3m attached respectively to the front 2f and/or the middle 2m exceed respective preset threshold values Csf, Csm; and an abnormality processing means Fp including a warning indication means Fa providing at least a warning indication indicating that a plasticization abnormality has occurred, if it is determined that the plasticization abnormality has occurred.
