PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a combine harvester capable of efficiently collecting in a grain tank 7 a proper amount of grain, decreasing harvesting work time loss, and improving harvesting work efficiency. SOLUTION: There is provided a combine harvester comprising a reaping device 3, a threshing device 5 and a grain tank 7 and composed to detect the grain collected in the grain tank 7 with chaff sensors 106, 107, 108 and 109, wherein the remaining time capable of performing grain harvesting work can be informed to the operator by calculating the grain collecting time till the grain collecting amount in the grain tank 7 reaches the capacity of a carrying means based on the output of the chaff sensors 106, 107, 108 and 109 detecting the collected grain in the grain tank at the initial of the harvesting work start and on the middle.
