PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an acoustic device for a washroom preventing an actual user in a toilet booth from feeling uncomfortable and high in effect of masking toilet use sounds to persons outside the toilet booth. SOLUTION: This acoustic device 30 for the washroom includes a speaker fixed to a wall surface 16 of the toilet booth and making sound. The directional characteristics of sounds from the installation surface of the acoustic device 30 for the washroom are directed in one other direction compared with a direction perpendicular to the installation surface 16.
