PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine capable of effectively illuminating the game area of a game board. SOLUTION: In a back unit, a level difference part 70 which is opened forward and faces the inner side of the game area 34 defined by a transparent plate 31 is formed at an upper fixing part fixed while abutting on the back surface of the transparent plate 31, and an upper right LED board 72 having an LED 72a for emitting light forward is disposed at the level difference part 70. Further, an installation recessed part 75 which is opened forward and to the side of the level difference part 70 and faces the outer side of the game area 34 defined by the transparent plate 31 is recessed at the upper fixing part, and an upper left LED board 76 having an LED 76a for emitting light to the side of the level difference part 70 is disposed at the installation recessed part 75. In the meantime, a light transmissive frame-shaped decorative body 43 is disposed corresponding to the front of the upper right LED board 72 on the transparent plate 31, a light non-transmissive board surface decorative member 35b is disposed on the outer side of the game area 34, and the board surface decorative member 35b is positioned at the front of the upper left LED board 76.
