PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cement composition which has high fluidity and high hardening speed and exhibits ultrahigh strength. SOLUTION: The cement composition comprises cement, fine powder with a BET specific surface area of 5 to 15 m<SP>2</SP>/g, inorganic powder with a Blaine specific surface area of 4,000 to 10,000 cm<SP>2</SP>/g, an alkaline earth metal salt, fine aggregate, a water reducing agent and water. The cement is moderated-heat portland cement and/or low-heat portland cement. The alkaline earth metal salt is calcium nitrate and/or calcium nitrite, and the water reducing agent is a polycarboxylic acid ether-based high performance water reducing agent. Regarding the blending ratio of the respective materials, to 100 pts.mass of the cement, that of the fine powder is 5 to 50 pts.mass, that of the inorganic powder is 5 to 50 pts.mass, that of the alkaline earth metal salt is 0.03 to 0.3 pts.mass, that of the fine aggregate is 50 to 250 pts.mass, that of the water reducing agent (expressed in terms of solid content) is 0.1 to 1.0 pt.mass, and that of the water is 10 to 30 pts.mass.
