PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide techniques for easily and rapidly specifying defective parts of a solar cell.

SOLUTION: Movable probes (roller probes 2) are made to be in contact with adjacent electrodes (14) of a plurality of solar cells (121, 122, ..., 12n). While being in contact with the electrodes (14), the movable probes (roller probes 2) are moved to search for conducting parts, and if conducting parts are found, an inverse voltage or an inverse current is applied to those parts using the same movable probe so that the conducting parts are removed.
