PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology for effectively utilizing a communication band while performing synchronization among networks, by selecting a controlled apparatus that transmits a synchronization signal for the synchronization among the networks, in wireless communication through a wireless USB (WUSB). SOLUTION: A control apparatus communicable with a plurality of controlled apparatuses includes an acquisition unit configured to obtain information about a communication apparatus within a communication range of the controlled apparatus and information about other communication apparatuses within a communication range of the communication apparatus, and a selection unit configured to select the controlled apparatus that transmits a synchronization signal for synchronization based on the information obtained by the acquisition unit.
