PURPOSE: A seal chiller of an intermediate shaft bearing is provided to solve the problems related to the abrasion and damage of a seal and lifespan reduction since cooling efficiency is increased by the application of a cooling hole and a circulating pipe to a surface friction type seal of an intermediate shaft bearing used at a high pressure. CONSTITUTION: A seal chiller of an intermediate shaft bearing comprises a cooling hole(B), a circulating hole(D), and a circulating pipe(4). The cooling hole is formed on the friction portion(C) of a housing(3) and a seal(2) to pass simultaneously through the seal and the housing. The circulating hole is formed on a part of the body of the housing. The circulating hole is connected to a housing space(A) through the housing. One end of the circulating pipe makes contact with the cooling hole. The other end of the circulating pipe makes contact with the circulating hole.
