<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for control of a rotating magnet type three-phase AC motor, capable of preventing a start-up current from being concentrated on one phase in starting up the motor, and to provide a control method. <P>SOLUTION: The device 1 for controlling an inverter 92 to apply a coil current to a stator coil of the rotating magnet type three-phase AC motor 91 includes: a position detection means 4 for detecting the rotating position θ of a rotor; current detection means 5U, 5V for detecting coil currents IU and IV; operation control means (63D and others) for operating control output signals U1-W2 in accordance with a predetermined operation control mode on the basis of a request torque TR, the rotating position θ, and the coil current IU and IV, and for output of the operated control output signals to an inverter 92; and a start-up control means (63S and others) for operating the control output signals U1-W2 in accordance with a control mode satisfying start-up current minimum conditions in which the maximum value in a three-phase start-up current instantaneous value is the minimum, instead of the predetermined operation control mode in starting up the three-phase AC motor 91, and for output of the operated control output signals to the inverter 92. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
