EXPANDABLE THERMOPLASTIC RESIN PARTICLE, PROCESS FOR PRODUCING THE SAME, PREFOAMED PARTICLE AND FOAM MOLDED PRODUCT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide expandable thermoplastic resin particles which can reduce the remaining amount of a volatile organic compound and can obtain sufficient heat resistance with no deterioration of the heat-resistant performance of a foam molded product due to the remaining volatile organic compound. SOLUTION: The expandable thermoplastic resin particles are obtained by incorporating a volatile blowing agent into a heat-resistant resin having a glass transition temperature measured by the DSC method of not lower than 110°C or a thermoplastic resin composed of a resin mixture of the heat-resistant resin and a polystyrenic resin, and based on 100 pts.mass thermoplastic resin, 0.01-1.0 pt.mass higher fatty acid based lubricant having a melting point of not lower than 65°C is incorporated.
