PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a magnet fitted on an O-shaped projection formed on a bracket to be removed easily while a control unit is removed by releasing it from a jointly tightened state. SOLUTION: In a control unit mounting structure, a magnet attaching screw hole is formed on the back face of the control unit attached detachably to the front face of an apparatus body. A joint tightening screw hole is formed on the bracket made of a magnetic material and used to attach the control unit. A magnet with an attaching hole is placed between the bracket and the control unit, in which state a screw is passed through the joint tightening screw hole of the bracket, the attaching hole of the magnet, and the magnet attaching screw hole of the control unit to jointly tightening the bracket, the magnet, and the control unit together. The bracket has a positioning projection that encircles part of the periphery of the magnet to determine its position when the magnet is attached by magnetic attraction, the positioning projection being structured to have an opening on part thereof.
