PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve image quality of a picked-up image by suppressing generation of a dark current due to stress generated by metal wirings in a peripheral region. SOLUTION: Insulating films have stress relaxation layers 600 (air layer) formed in a boundary region KA positioned between an optical black pixel region BA and the peripheral region SA to relax stress generated by a plurality of metal wirings HW.
