摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that a control box of a conventional paving machine cannot be fixed in the most easy-to-operate position for an operator, even when the control box is arranged in the position. SOLUTION: The operator moves the control box 18 to an arbitrary position by a parallel link mechanism comprising a pair of arms 31 and 31 in which portions 32 and 32 for being connected to a vehicle body of an asphalt finisher 11 and portions 33 and 33 for being connected to the control box 18 for operating the asphalt finisher 11 are turnably connected together. The control box 18 is fixed in an arbitrary position by a foot brake 20 which is provided below the control box 18 in such a manner as to be freely expandable/contractible depending on the operator's operation, which locks expansion/contraction in a position to bring a ground plate 51 into contact with the vehicle body 11a of the asphalt finisher 11, and which fixes the control box 18 by supporting it on the vehicle body 11a via the ground board 51.
