Improved awning with a front lath (5) which seals the opening (4) of the awning casing (2) when the awning cloth (12) is rolled up and which is being held in relation to the awning casing (2) by two or more articulated arms (6), wherein the awning (1) is provided with at least one supporting leg (13) which can be folded into a storage position from a position of use supporting the awning (1), wherein the supporting leg (13), in a folded storage position, can be stored at least partly under or on top of an articulated arm (6) or in a recess in the arm (6).
