<p>The casting device has a die with die cavity that has two die halves connected to a casting portion of which is closable at least partially by a closure portion. A sealing portion arranged at die half which when mating the two die halves sealingly contacts the other die half. A portion of a vent passage (13) recessed in a die parting is running radially within the sealing portion. The vent passage ports into a die parting of the die half at an angle ranging from 30[deg] to 90[deg] . An independent claim is included for method for venting casting device.</p> |
