<p>The handheld tool, particularly a handheld saw, has an electric drive motor (12), a serially switched gearbox, and a movement converter that converts the driven movement of the gearbox into an axial to-and-fro movement of a lifting element. The gearbox and the movement converter are combined into a gear unit. The gear unit of the gear box and the movement converter is arranged within a robust, bending and a deformation-resistant gear housing (40), which is in turn inside a housing (11). The housing is made of flexible plastic. The gear housing is made of metal, e.g. aluminum.</p> |
