Identification band for identifying a person

The band (1) has a head, and a free end (3) lying opposite to the head in a longitudinal extension of the band. A closure mechanism e.g. flexible beam, is arranged in a through-hole of the head for cooperation with a grid formed from a set of recesses. The through-hole is oriented in a direction of the longitudinal extension of the band. An outer surface (5) and an inner surface of the band are curved transverse to the longitudinal extension of the band. The through-hole is attached to the inner surface of the band.
