RACK BUSH, AND RACK AND PINION TYPE STEERING APPARATUS FOR VEHICLE HAVING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A rack bush and a steering device of a rack pinion type of a vehicle are provided to reduce the rattle noise due to the external force transferred through a rack bar, and the abnormal abrasion of a rack bush through the smooth supporting of the load of the axial and vertical directions of the rack bar. CONSTITUTION: A rack bush(200) comprises a bush body(210) and an elastic band(230). The bush body comprises a first slit(219) and a second slit(221). The first slit is cut along the axis from the end of a large diameter unit(213). The second slit is cut along the axis from the end of a small diameter unit(217). One side of the elastic band is supported on a middle diameter unit(215). The elastic band makes tight contact with the outer circumferential surface of the small diameter unit. The bush body comprises an expanded diameter unit on its inner circumferential surface. Inner diameter of the expanded diameter unit is expanded from the middle diameter unit toward the large diameter unit.
