PURPOSE: A method of controlling the indoor/outdoor units for a vehicle is provided to control the indoor air inflow to an air conditioner through the designating of the vehicle speed according to the intensity of the air volume. CONSTITUTION: It is determined that a ventilation fan in an air intake unit, which inhales the outdoor air and the indoor air, is on(S205). A maximum heating mode and an outdoor air intake mode are determined(S210,S215). In the maximum heating mode and the outdoor air intake mode, it is determined whether the outdoor air temperature of a vehicle detected by a sensor, a cooling water temperature, and the indoor temperature of the vehicle are below minimum reference values(S220,S225,S230). If yes, it is determined whether the vehicle speed is below the air leakage occurrence speed(S235). If yes, the conversion door of the air intake unit is operated and is changed to a partial indoor air state(S240). In the partial indoor air state, when one or more of an off signal of the ventilation fan, a maximum heating mode cancellation signal, and an outdoor air intake mode cancellation signal are applied, the partial indoor air state is cancelled.
