PURPOSE: A control method of a cooking appliance is provided to safely control the movement of a heating source, wherein a heating source moving a cooking space is sensed by the drive time of a switch and a drive module. CONSTITUTION: A control method of a cooking appliance comprise following steps. If a cooking space is in normal state, the drive of first and second heating sources is stopped before a cook finishing time, the first heating source is moved to a first setting location, and then cooking is finished. If the cooking space is in abnormal state, the drive of the first and second heating sources is stopped, the first heating source is moved to a second setting location, and then cooking is finished.
