THE NOVEL ESTER OF OLMESARTAN, INTERMEDIATES THEREOF, PREPARATION THEREOF AND PHARMACEUTICAL COMPOSITION COMPRISING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A novel ester compound of olmesartan, intermediated thereof and a method for preparing the same are provided to ensure angiotensin II antagonistic activity and to prevent or treat hypertension. CONSTITUTION: A novel ester compound of olmesartan is denoted by chemical formula 1. A method for preparing the compound of chemical formula 1 comprises: a step of coupling a compound of chemical formula 6 with a compound of chemical formula 7 to obtain a compound of chemical formula 1 which is R3-protected tetrazole-5-yl; a step of removing the R3 protection group by adding acid. A pharmaceutical composition for preventing or treating hypertension contains the compound of chemical formula 1 or pharmaceutically acceptable salt as an active ingredient.
