[Class 142 (i)] When a pedal L<SP>2</SP> is depressed a continuously revolving friction wheel A is moved by a mechanism against the brake wheel H and the loom is driven slowly' in reverse. The mechanism comprises an arm L<SP>1</SP>, a catch Jl, a rod J, a pivoted lever G<SP>1</SP> and a bracket F. An interlock between the starting handle P and the catch J, comprising a bell-crank lever O<SP>4</SP>, and a chain O ensures that the reversing mechanism is inoperative during weaving.</p> |
