PURPOSE: A cooker and a control method thereof are provided to rapidly cook food using multiple heating sources, since the level for driving multiple heating sources is adjusted according to the input drive level of the entire heating sources. CONSTITUTION: A cooker comprises a cavity(1), a first heating source(10), multiple second heating sources(20), and an input unit(5). The input unit receives the driving temperature of the first and the second heating sources as a fixed driving level. The cooker control method comprises following steps. The first heating source is driven with maximum operation lever. The second heating source is driven with the input drive level of the second heating source. The first heating source is driven with the driving level of the set first heating source, and the second heating source is driven with the first set driving level during first setting time.
