<p>The pad has a suction disk (10) fixed with a ring region (18) by a form-rigid structural component e.g. housing bowl, and placed surrounding a circular internal region (14), where material of the disk is compressed in the ring region in an operated condition of the pad. The ring region has a surface microstructuring leveled in the operated condition of the pad by contact pressure produced by negative pressure on a workpiece surface. The microstructuring is regenerated in unactuated condition such that a gas-guiding connection is produced between an environment (20) and the internal region. The suction disk is formed from a mixture of styrene-butadiene rubber and natural rubber.</p> |
