Solid pharmaceutical composition comprises a hydrophobic active substance, a phospholipid and a maltodextrin. An independent claim is also included for preparing the pharmaceutical composition, comprising either: mixing the hydrophobic active substance with the phospholipid and maltodextrin to obtain a mixture, (b) transferring the mixture to a liquid and (c) granulating the mixture with the liquid or (i) mixing the hydrophobic active substance with the phospholipid and maltodextrin to obtain a mixture and (ii) compacting the mixture or (ia) mixing the hydrophobic active substance with the phospholipid and maltodextrin or (A) preparing a mixture comprising a solvent, hydrophobic active substance, phospholipid and maltodextrin, where at least the active substance and the phospholipid are present in dissolved form in the solvent, and (B) removing the solvent from the mixture.
