A powder container (70) is arranged in the housing for storing cosmetic powder (90) before applying the cosmetic powder on the sponge. A volume changeable pressure chamber (16), a distributing device (60), a mixing channel (74) and a valve (80) are arranged in the housing for conveying the cosmetic powder from the powder container to the retaining frame.
