A LIQUIFIED GAS CARRIER AND THE BUILDING METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE: A liquefied gas carrier and a building method thereof are provided to allow leaked liquefied gas to flow down along the exterior wall of a cargo space and safely collect the liquefied gas at the bottom of the cargo space. CONSTITUTION: A liquefied gas carrier comprises an exterior wall, an insulation part, a plurality of intermediate plates(42), and one or more fixing members. The exterior wall forms an outer shape of a cargo space accommodating liquefied gas. The insulation part is installed to block the heat transfer between the interior and the exterior of the cargo space by surrounding the exterior wall. The intermediate plates are installed between the exterior wall and the insulation part and secure the intermediate plates to a specific height from the exterior wall so that the liquefied gas leaking out of the exterior wall flows down along the exterior wall.
